🌻  Spring Fling Chunky Knitted Sweater 🌻

The Spring Fling Chunky Sweater is a top-down raglan pattern which uses super chunky yarn knitted on 12 mm and 10 mm knitting needles. Samples shown in the pictures use Lauren Aston Designs Chunky Merino (linked here) for the sweater and additional yarns for the embroidery (suggestions can be seen below).

The pattern is written for sizes XS - 5XL with finished bust circumferences for each size shown below along with yarn required.
XS - 100 cm and 390 m
S - 112.5 cm and 425 m
M - 120 cm and 460 m
L - 135 cm and 420 m
XL - 147.5 cm and 560 m
2XL - 155 cm and 590 m
3XL - 165 cm and 620 m
4XL - 172.5 cm and 650 m
5XL - 177.5 cm and 680 m

The gauge for this pattern is:
8 stitches x 11 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm

The pattern does not include specific instructions for adding embroidery (as I am no expert!!) but does state which techniques were used where. I recommend using a yarn in a lighter weight than the sweater for any embroidery. In the samples shown I used:
- Cascade 220 (linked here)
- Cascade Cantata (linked here)
- Stitch and Story Lil Merino (linked here)
- Paintbox Yarns DK cotton (linked here)

I recommend watching some Youtube tutorials if you are a complete beginner - there are lots out there!

The sequins I bought from Etsy. I recommend the sellers below:
Smilemercantile (linked here)
Cards Of A By Gone Era (link here)
Savannah Sequins (link here)

You can purchase the pattern from Lovecrafts and Ravelry.
